Please read these terms carefully before using ParcelDaddy's services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to ParcelDaddy ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at www.parceldaddy.com and all related services including package forwarding, consolidation, assisted shopping, wallet recharges, and international shipping.

By creating an account, making a payment, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platform immediately.

2. Definitions

  • "User" — Any individual or entity that registers for or uses ParcelDaddy services.
  • "Parcel" — Any package, product, or shipment received at our warehouse on behalf of the User.
  • "Wallet" — The digital balance maintained on the User's ParcelDaddy account for service payments.
  • "Assisted Shopping" — A service where ParcelDaddy purchases items from Indian online stores on behalf of the User.
  • "Consolidation" — Combining multiple parcels into a single shipment to reduce shipping costs.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must create a free account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

ParcelDaddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Warehouse & Storage

Upon registration, each User receives a unique virtual warehouse address in India. Parcels sent to this address are stored securely under the following conditions:

  • Free Storage: Parcels are stored free of charge for up to 30 calendar days from the date of arrival.
  • Extended Storage: Parcels stored beyond 30 days will incur a storage fee of ₹200 per month. This fee is billed monthly and deducted from the User's wallet balance.
  • No Time Limit: There is no maximum storage duration. Your parcels can remain in our warehouse for as long as needed, subject to applicable monthly storage fees after the free period.
  • Full Responsibility: ParcelDaddy assumes complete responsibility for the safety and security of all parcels stored in our warehouse, from the moment they arrive until they are shipped to the User's destination.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the actual or volumetric weight (whichever is higher), destination country, and chosen courier service.
  • Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith and may vary due to customs, weather, carrier delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • ParcelDaddy is not liable for delays caused by customs authorities or courier partners.
  • Tracking information will be provided for all dispatched shipments. It is the User's responsibility to monitor and receive the shipment at the destination.

6. Payments & Wallet

  • All payments are processed through secure payment gateways including Razorpay and PayPal.
  • Wallet recharges are non-refundable once credited, except in cases of verified service failure.
  • A 5.5% processing fee is applied to all PayPal transactions. This fee is clearly displayed before payment confirmation.
  • All prices displayed on the platform are in Indian Rupees (₹). PayPal transactions are converted to USD at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment.
  • ParcelDaddy reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email.

7. Assisted Shopping

  • ParcelDaddy will purchase items from Indian online retailers on behalf of the User based on product links and specifications provided.
  • Payment for the item(s) must be made in advance via Wallet, Razorpay, or PayPal before the purchase is initiated.
  • ParcelDaddy is not responsible for product quality, defects, size discrepancies, or seller-related issues. Any disputes must be raised with the original retailer.
  • Cancellations or returns of assisted shopping orders are subject to the original retailer's return policy. ParcelDaddy service fees for assisted shopping are non-refundable.

8. Restricted & Prohibited Items

Users must not ship items that are prohibited by Indian export laws, international shipping regulations, or the destination country's import laws. Restricted items include but are not limited to:

  • Hazardous materials, explosives, and flammable substances
  • Narcotics, drugs, and controlled substances
  • Weapons, ammunition, and military equipment
  • Counterfeit goods and items infringing intellectual property rights
  • Perishable food items (unless pre-approved)
  • Currency, bullion, and negotiable instruments
  • Live animals and plants

ParcelDaddy reserves the right to inspect, refuse, or dispose of any item found to be restricted or prohibited. Users shall bear full legal and financial responsibility for shipping prohibited items.

9. Customs & Duties

  • Import duties, taxes, and customs clearance charges at the destination country are the sole responsibility of the User.
  • ParcelDaddy does not include customs duties in shipping cost estimates.
  • We may provide customs documentation and declared values as required, but we do not guarantee duty-free clearance.

10. Liability & Insurance

  • ParcelDaddy takes utmost care in handling and packaging all parcels. However, our liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the parcel or ₹5,000, whichever is lower, unless additional insurance is purchased.
  • Claims for lost or damaged parcels must be filed within 14 days of the expected delivery date with supporting evidence (photos, tracking details).
  • ParcelDaddy is not liable for damage caused by improper or inadequate packaging by the sender.

11. Refund Policy

  • Wallet balance refunds are processed only in cases of verified service failure or account closure request.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once the parcel has been dispatched.
  • Refund requests must be submitted via our Support page or by emailing Support@parceldaddy.com.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data (name, email, address, payment details) solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as necessary for shipping and payment processing. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the ParcelDaddy website, including logos, text, images, and software, is the property of ParcelDaddy Private Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

14. Modification of Terms

ParcelDaddy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnal, Haryana, India.
